It's time!!!

So, some of you may have heard from a little birdy (ahem, Ma)  that Sam and I know if we're having a boy or girl.

IT'S TRUE!!

Now is the time for your official guess. Here's some ultrasounds to help you. Sorry, but the first and last are upside down somehow.

MAKE YOUR GUESS! Then we'll reveal!

Bouncing Baby Buns

Ok, so this was our wee one at 8 weeks. I'm now officially at 12 weeks. And I'm due on September 29th. Which is 50 years away. But in another 8 weeks, we find out girl or boy!!!

And this is the coolest thing in the world. And the picture is the same as above, which is why the baby looks the same.

Being pregnant is super cool. And sometimes super weird. Like when I think, "huh, there's an entire human body inside of me." And it's nothing like my pregnant dreams ever were like. And it's also not like stuffing a baby doll under your shirt.

Bright, shiny, and news

Bright!

It's finally March! February and I have never gotten along very well. February Schmebruary if I have anything to say about it. Just scoot Valentines Day to some other lonely month and lets skip February. But it's over! And while the first week of March was pretty unpredictable (i.e., it would be 40 degrees and sunny til about 3 pm and then it would snow quarter sized flakes for 3 hours), I think the worst is over. We've had sunny skies all weekend! Heck, I wore shorts and flip flops all day yesterday! We turned off the heat and opened the windows!!! Pretty unfortunate timing for that though, because according to Sam, for some reason the air smelled like "horse dung."

Shiny.

This is our old microwave. Well, it's a dumpster, but our old microwave is in there. We got it for free, which was a blessing. It had no light, and no buttons. Just two dials. It served us well for almost eight months of wedded bliss. Rest in peace, Ugly Broken.

And this is our new microwave!!! It's beautiful! And so smart! It knows the time! And it has a popcorn button!! We're thrilled.

Lastly, news! Or maybe anti-news.

I guess we jumped the gun on the announcement that we're moving to Georgia. It probably won't happen this summer. It just doesn't make to much sense right now, unless you ask the emotional, irrational sides of us that say "SPEND ALL YOUR MONEY ON MOVING TO GEORGIA!! It doesn't matter that you'll have to live as squatters in a cardboard box! It'll be a great story for your kids one day! Babies who grow up homeless have solid character!! You'll be so close to home, and so far away from Canada! You can get sunburned! And eat Zaxby's!!"

We try to keep that side of us at bay. But, eventually, when Sam is done with school, we'll be there!!! And it'll be great. And it'll make sense to all sides of us. And we'll eat a lot of Zaxby's.

Well I think it's funny.

So, we bought a little truck at the beginning of the year. It's a '94 Ford Ranger. It's golden. And it has rear wheel drive, which is the stinkiest thing that ever happened to a Georgia girl trying to learn to drive in snow. But we love it all the same.

This last Sunday while at a friends house, a MONSTRO SUV backed into little Goldy, breaking both tail lights and denting the tail gate. The two girls driving, who also happen to be in our ward said, "We were talking. I don't think we hit it too hard," while crying hysterically. The poor dears.

So we called our insurance, they sent an appraiser out to appraise the damage, and we'll probably be getting a nice fatty check from the girls' insurance company.

Last night, the rear brakes went out. It is scary. We weren't sure if it was from the girls running into us or what, so Sam called our insurance again to report the accident. While explaining, he said, "We're not sure if it was because we got hit in the rear, or what." HAHAHAHAHA isn't that funny?

He didn't think so either. But I sure did. It kind of reminds me when the guy came to Dad's childhood home and reported that he'd had an accident in front of their house. HA.

Just a couple of things

First off, I gotta give props to my sweet wife who indeed keeps me on the happy train! She's great!

I hope you're focused on her. I know, I haven't figure out why someone as cute as she would have chosen someone like me. But, I won't complain :)
Secondly, I am a rockstar... didn't y'all hear?

That's me playing at Sammy's. I opened up for a band and played 8 of my own original songs!
Since y'all couldn't have made it I made sure to record it! Here is a glimpse of the concert. Since I couldn't figure out how to put an mp3 file on the blog, I made a video so y'all could hear it. The video consists of random pictures of Megan and I. Enjoy!

Anyway, I had a lot more to blog about but the internet froze and erased all the other stuff I wrote. I'll write again soon! I promise.

Alright, alright!

Here you go Mom! You're about to have the grand tour of a lifetime.

This is the living room, complete with FREE hide-a-bed.f
This is our dining room. Sam assembled all 15 zillion pieces.

This bookshelf is affectionately known as "The Box."

Here's the kitchen! That's chili on the stove.
Bathroom. That is lipstick on the mirror.

This is the dresser that I love. It used to have a mirror that I loved, until I broke it and got 7 years of bad luck.
Here is our cozy bed. I think the blanket looks a little like a caterpillar.

We love our little house (apartment.) You're all invited to sleep on our hide-a-bed.
