Little things

Here are some things that are awesome.

Nope, you're not looking at Pinterest or some other website that has pictures of awesome hair, that's the back of my very own personal head! I picked a sock that had no brother and made a sock bun. And I put it on my head.
Obviously, these are my lovely toes. I went with Heather (my roommate who came to our wedding) to get our toes done at the local beauty school for TWELVE SMACKERS. And the girl who did my toes was Brazilian. She used her own Brazilian fingernail polish on my toes, and gave me a flower on the Biggies. ("Be young!!!")
Samuel went to Island Park with one of his friends to pal around for a few days before said friend moves to Texas. And he picked me flowers before he left. Because he likes me.

THIS is a wall decal. I automatically think of Fat Head commercials when I say that. The idea is that they stick on your wall and make everything wonderful. But these don't really stick on our wall. We might glue them there.

We got rear ended like, 8 months ago, and they shattered our passengers side tail light assembly. We didn't really care til we got pulled over last week and the nice policeman let us off with a friendly warning. (Probably a first in the Rexburg police force.) It lit a fire under Sam and we ordered a replacement online. It came today. The brownies were brought over by a neighbor. They are made out of beans. BEANS. Bean brownies.

Well I think it's funny.

So, we bought a little truck at the beginning of the year. It's a '94 Ford Ranger. It's golden. And it has rear wheel drive, which is the stinkiest thing that ever happened to a Georgia girl trying to learn to drive in snow. But we love it all the same.

This last Sunday while at a friends house, a MONSTRO SUV backed into little Goldy, breaking both tail lights and denting the tail gate. The two girls driving, who also happen to be in our ward said, "We were talking. I don't think we hit it too hard," while crying hysterically. The poor dears.

So we called our insurance, they sent an appraiser out to appraise the damage, and we'll probably be getting a nice fatty check from the girls' insurance company.

Last night, the rear brakes went out. It is scary. We weren't sure if it was from the girls running into us or what, so Sam called our insurance again to report the accident. While explaining, he said, "We're not sure if it was because we got hit in the rear, or what." HAHAHAHAHA isn't that funny?

He didn't think so either. But I sure did. It kind of reminds me when the guy came to Dad's childhood home and reported that he'd had an accident in front of their house. HA.
